God’s people listen to his word as part of their dependence on him. Our small groups offer the chance for people (wherever they are in their journey) to meet together to read God’s word, pray for one another and the world, and encourage one another. The best way to join a small group is to chat to one of the ministry team after church on a Sunday or fill in a Connect Form.
Crafty Ladies is a monthly craft group for ladies, typically on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 10am-12pm. Bring your own craft, knitting, or just enjoy some morning tea! There is a short Bible talk each week to help people consider the realities of following and trusting Jesus.
The monthly markets are on the 2nd Saturday of each month (except January). These are a great time of socialising and connecting with others from our community. Stalls feature hand-made baked goods, crafts, quality second hand clothes, jewellery, glassware, books, DVDs, children’s toys, and plants. Freshly made bacon and egg rolls, espresso coffee and devonshire teas available.
Conversation Hour is a group that meets one Thursday night a month, in the lobby bar of the Novotel, Wollongong to kick around some big ideas, to gain a deeper understanding of how following Jesus shapes our life.
In the month leading up to each meeting, some suggestions of blogs, articles, books or parts of the Bible will be circulated to help stimulate thinking on the topic for the month.
It’s not a book club! Anyone’s welcome to come.
Check out “Conversation Hour – Wollongong” on Facebook to find out about upcoming dates and topics.
